2019 Pride in Newry
The parade & festival takes place on Saturday 31st of August. What better way to celebrate than to send flowers to a loved one to mark the event?
Ulster Rally 2019 will be based in Newry.
Starting with a shakedown stage on Friday 16th August followed by a ceremony at the Albert Basin at 8:45pm. The main competitive stages will then take place on Saturday 17th August. Included in this are three visits to the service park at Newry High School throughout the day. The event promises to put Newry in the spotlight as it has previously attracted 20,000 people spectators and visitors.
City of Merchants Festival 2018
In 2018, we had the second year of the City of Merchants Festival in Newry. The festival took place from Friday 2nd November through to Sunday 4th November. The festival commemorates the history of Newry as a busy port city. Newry is noted as an important epicenter of trade between Britain and Ireland. In addition, expect many fun and interesting events, tours and activities in celebration of Newry’s strong trading heritage and rich maritime history.
